How to Remove the Intake Manifold of Isuzu 4HJ1 N Series Engine

 

This article mainly introduces Isuzu of 4HJ1 N-Series Engine Inlet Manifold Removal

Isuzu G-IDSS Diagnostic Service System 03.2022 Download and Installation

Removal
1.Disconnect the battery cable negative terminal.
2.Drain the engine coolant.
3.Remove the intake throttle valve.
Refer to "Intake Throttle Valve"in this Section.
4.Remove the heater pipe.

5. Remove the EGR valve.(Euro4 specification only)
Refer to"EGR Valve and EGR Cooler"in Section
6F, Engine Exhaust.

7.Remove the leak-off pipe.

8.Disconnect the leak-off hose clamp.

9. Remove the engine oil level gauge and guide tube.
10.Remove the injection pipe.
NOTE: Do not reuse the injection pipe.
11.Remove the oil cooler pipe.

12. Remove the inlet manifold cover.(Euro2
specification only)
13. Remove the inlet manifold.
NOTE: Do not reuse the gasket.
