How to install the fuel pump of Isuzu EFI diesel engine
①Install the O-ring (2 in Figure 4-32) to the oil transfer pump (1 in Figure 4-32). Install the pump on the bracket (3 in Figure 4-32) and tighten the 3 bolts (4 in Figure 4-32) to the specified torque. The tightening torque is 19N·m. ② Align the key of the oil delivery pump shaft with the gear (5 in Figure 4-33), install the gear and tighten the nut (6 in Figure 4-33) to the specified torque.

③ The gear end face is stamped with a reference mark circle.
Paint the upper part of the gear teeth beyond the mark marked "0" in white, see Figure 4-34. This spray paint is very important to check the correct placement.
④Install the O-ring (7 in Figure 4-35) to the fuel delivery pump assembly (8 in Figure 4-35). Align the oil transfer pump gear position with the reference mark (0 mark) on the end face of the gear and the bevel on the side of the pump bracket.
Install the fuel transfer pump assembly to the engine making sure that the alignment is in the correct position.
Temporarily tighten the bolts (10 and 11 in Figure 4-35) and nuts (9 in Figure 4-35)
⑤ When viewing from the cock hole, check to make sure that the gear teeth with reference mark (0 mark) and white paint are in the center of the hole and the position shown in Figure 4-36. If the alignment is not correct, adjust the gear position again and install the pump on it.
Temporarily tighten the bolts (10 and 11 in Figure 4-35) and nuts (9 in Figure 4-35) to the specified torque. The nut tightening torque is 50N.m; the bolt tightening torque is 76N.m.
⑥ Install the hole cover (13 in Figure 4-37) into the plug hole. Tighten the bolt (12 in Figure 4-37) to the specified torque.
The tightening torque is 8N·m.
⑦ Connect the joints (14 and 15 in Figure 4-38).
Install the piping (17, Figure 4-38) with the eyebolts (16, Figure 4-38).
⑧ Use the eyebolts (19 in Figure 4-39, 21 and 22 in Figure 4-40) and bolts (20 in Figure 4-39) to install the
Oil pipe (18 in Figure 4-39). CAUTION: Keep water, dust or dirt out. Clean the lines with a spray of parts cleaner to prevent scratches and remove accumulated dirt from the fittings. The seal must be replaced.
⑨Install the fuel hose (23 in Figure 4-41).
CAUTION: Keep water, dust or dirt out.
⑩Install the fuel injection pipe (25 in Figure 4-42). This injector tube is not reusable and must be replaced with a new one. Tighten the turnbuckle (24, Figure 4-42).
CAUTION: Keep water, dust or dirt out. Clean the lines with a spray of parts cleaner to prevent scratches and remove accumulated dirt from the fittings.
11，Install the clip (27 in Figure 4-43) with bolts (26 in Figure 4-43).
12，Install the oil dipstick line (29 in Figure 4-44) with bolts (28 in Figure 4-44).
CAUTION: Keep water, dust or dirt out. Clean the lines with a spray of parts cleaner to prevent scratches and remove accumulated dirt from the fittings.
⑬ Install each harness clamp (33, Figure 4-45) with the bolt (32, Figure 4-45) and install the harness connector (30 and 31, Figure 4-45).
⑭ Install the oil inlet pipe (35 in Figure 4-46) with 3 bolts (34 in Figure 4-46) and tighten to the specified torque. The tightening torque is 24N·m
⑮ 连接接头（图 4-47 中 36）。
⑩Install the air hose (38 in Figure 4-48), and tighten the hose tie (37 in Figure 4-48). CAUTION: Keep water, dust or dirt out.
