How to disassemble an Isuzu engine (Inlet Manifold)

Removal

1.Disconnect the battery cable negative terminal.

2.Drain the engine coolant.

3.Remove the intake throttle valve.

Refer to "Intake Throttle Valve"in this Section.

 

4.Remove the heater pipe.

5.Remove the EGR valve.(Euro4 specification only)

Refer to "EGR Valve and EGR Cooler"in Section 6F,Engine  Exhaust.

 

6.Disconnect  the  engine   harness  clip.

7.Remove  the  leak-off  pipe.

 

 

 8.Disconnect  the   leak-off  hose  clamp.

 

 9.Remove the engine oil  level gauge and guide tube

10.Remove  the  injection  pipe.

NOTE:

Do not reuse the injection pipe.

11.Remove  the  oil  cooler  pipe.

12.Remove       the    inlet     manifold     cover.      (Euro2 specification  only)

13.Remove  the   inlet   manifold.

NOTE:

Do not reuse the gasket.
